An alliance of Kansas City Southern and I&M Rail Link and Canadian National Railroads forms the NAFTA Railway, extending from Canada to Mexico. The NAFTA Railway traverses Mississippi and allows a shipper to secure one rate and access a single rail network to move shipments throughout North America. Kansas City Southern and Canadian National Railways maintain two mainlines and yards with 10 minutes of Jackson-Evers International Airport, both with modern full service intermodal facilities.

The airport is also located 35 miles (56 kilometers) from the Port of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Over 50 trucking companies are located in Jackson, providing both truck load and less than truck load service throughout North America.
