(comprised of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina,
South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas) exported internationally, by air, over 510,800 tons
of commodities valued at $38 billion USD.
Basic chemicals, computer equipment and printed
materials and motor vehicle parts make up the largest international exports by air out of
the region. Goods being imported to the region by air include computer equipment, semiconductors
and navigational, measuring, electromedical, and control instruments and motor vehicle parts. |
