The Jackson-Evers International Airport provides excellent facilities and services for private and corporate pilots, both transient and home-based.

In 1963 a new military and commercial air facility was dedicated in Rankin County, known as Allen C. Thompson Field (Jackson-Evers International Airport).

Our name has officially been changed to the Jackson-Evers International Airport. Along with this International status, the United States Customs office is now located within our facility and we have established a Foreign Trade Zone.

As we look into the future, we see the Jackson-Evers International Airport continuing to grow in size and service to the citizens of Mississippi.
